The fashion journalist turned designer Luella Bartley is making a comeback. Unfortunately for moi (and the rest of the luella tribe) she is not revitalising the Luella Brand...However, she is releasing a book. From the woman responsible for collections called 'Daddy I want a pony' and 'Dial F for Fluro' it is not a shock that she is publishing a book called ' Luella's Guide to English Style'.
In her hay day Luella's quirky English Tea Party dresses and bags were popular amongst 'Brit Pack' cool gang of Alexa Chung, Kate Moss, Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldof, Lily Allen and Kelly Osbourne.
So while that all sounds very amazing, and i most certainly will be buying it, i hope she picks up on the designing front again! I miss her!
(Luelle's Guide to English Style will be published in October)
