Jessie J for Italian Vogue...

I completely went off Jessie J when I saw her perform on Britain's Got Talent with no shoes on (Joss Stone-eque - ew!) But she's redeemed herself in my style stakes by appearing in this Gothic and edgy editorial for Vogue Italia, June 2011. Shot by the sex god that is Francesco Carrozzini and styled by Enrica Ponzellini.

This makes up for the bare feet right??

At first I didn't like Jessie J. I though oh god another attempt from the industry trying to beat Gaga, but she totally won me over with her amazing voice and style.
These images are beautiful and yes they totally make up for her bare feet!!

Love J.

I never really liked Jessie J before I saw her on Britains Got Talent. Apart from taking her shoes off, I thought she was amazing and she has a quirky sense of style. These images look great!

First saw Jessie J live back in December at the Brit Awards launch...The Wanted, Ellie Glouding and Tinie Tempah were also performing. Let me just say, SHE BLEW THEM AWAY. Performing an acoustic version of 'Do It Like A Dude' I honestly didn't know what to expect. Yeah, I had heard the the original on the radio, and yeah, my response was something along the lines of Jesus not another Katy B (don't get me wrong, I love Katy B)...But Jessie J is one of those people that once you have experienced her voice live, you develop a sort of obsession. It is flawless, beautiful and so powerful you will never forget it.

She is exceptionally talented, has worked hard all her life (and not relied on "talent shows" for her success) and is actually unbelieveably highlarious. Just YouTube her you will see what I mean, and if the hundreds if not thousands of young girls and boys out there posting covers of her songs is not proof of her worldwide appeal I don't know what is. Yeah she is not perfect, so her heels hurt her and she felt more comfortable singing without them...But for me, she may as well had work a full lobster costume and she still would have had 100% of my attention. In my eyes she can do no wrong and I can't wait to see what she churns out next!

Great post Amelia, thanks for highlighting it! Much love, Xx
