Chloe 09/10...

I think my favourite collection for Autumn/Winter 09/10 is the ChloƩ collection. Reminiscent of the early 80s era with big baggy high waisted trousers, and oversize blanket coats, Hannah Macgibbon (who took over from Pheobe Philo) has injected glamour into the collection with draped velvets and easy to wear pieces. There is a casual feel about the collection with use of overalls and slouchy trousers, however outfits are still jazzed up with embellishments and bows

.

I love love love this collection. Its very subtle and soft but the pieces are stunning and sheer. My favourite is the asymmetric black velvet jumpsuit, and hareems with asymmetric nude bow blouse. Gorgeous.

Back to the Boudoir...

From see through chiffons to full pelts of fur take a look at the new 'back to the boudoir' trend. Showing off the sexy femme silhouette with a peekaboo take on lingerie. Long gowns are present in Roberto Cavalli whilst Allesandro Dell'Aqua explores fur jackets. Sophia Kokosalaki's beautiful chiffon dress is femininity at its best! Colours of nude's black's and red's all from the 'come to bed' family. Its not so underwear as outerwear, its more is it or isn't it with designers collaborating sexy structures with simple tailorings and statement pieces.
