Unique...
For Spring/Summer 2010 Topshop's 'Unique' design team has let their creative juices flow in full force once again for a fantastic collection. Karen Bonser's design team channelled the topshop look in a grungy yet bright way. Customising denim with rips and completely washed out fabric. Styled with Chunkier than chunky knits, oversized blazers and more denim. Layers are key with somewhat unusual rubber bandeau tops and cycling shorts.
Another Recurring theme from London Fashion Week seems to be these aboriginal tribal prints. Topshop have made theres almost graffiti-like. Appealing to their younger audience! Khaki greens are contrasted with sugar pink accessories and blue and orange feather prints appear on floaty maxi dresses. Outfits styled with washed out denim shirts and lightweight knits for cool summer nights!
Pastel colours in teal, pinks and camel are hits again just like in Luella's Spring show. Biker leathers and oversized blazers matched with a lot of leg on show. Tapered Trousers and matching jackets take a fashionable approach to a suit! Topshop embrace a surfing side with graphical prints of Sharks embellished onto oversized crop tee's.
Theres also a sporty side to the unique collection, from sports jerseys to all-in-ones.Black lattice Leggings with transparent mesh vest. Outfits are layered to the max with cardigans on shoulders and around waists! Sequins make an appearance in a blood red and orange stripey number with cut out shoulders. Models go for the back combed hair look with the floppy bun on top of the head! Tres now. Also love the pastel floor length maxi's figure hugging and feminie with gorgeous prints!!

Luella SS10...
Luella has adopted a swinging sixties approach to spring/summer 2010. A mile away from all the brat pack's fave floral full, frilly multi-coloured collections. Princess Coats with peter pan collars set a mature tone however, use of pastel shades in pink, lemon yellow, teal and lipstick red kept the luella playfulness with a hint of polka dot fun.
Luella gives new meaning to 'sweetheart' neckline with cut out heart shape detail. Possibly cutest detail to date of LFW.
The lengths were short and waists were accentuated. Although still formal and more grown up than previous collections. Bright colours and prints set to be big for ss10.

Marc by Marc Jacobs...
NEW YORK, 15 September, 2009.
Marc Jacobs presented his spring/summer 2010 line at New York fashion week recently and one of his liveliest to date! With a vintage feel about it the vibrant colours and african prints are sure to set off a spring trend. Models all wore bunny ears just like Madonna in recent Louis Vuitton Campaign.
Jackets still following the 40's / 80's direction with the emphasised shoulders. Neons also making a reappearance with flashes of hot pinks and electric blues and yellows. Jacob's collection also featured a few jumpsuits - a look that is clearly sticking around.
