Look Books...

I'm feeling left out at Uni whilst all the promoters slave away making their trend books and i'm busy thinking....*design design design pattern pattern pattern how do i dye this fabric black*....so i've taken a break to have a play on photoshop. I'm thinking about how I would want a look book to look for this traces brief. The images are from Charles Anastase SS2010 collection...

Topshop have come up with a GENIUS idea to help Aged Concern and Help the Aged by auctioning off dresses donated by designers and celebrities. With the starting fee of £40. Dita Von Teese, Frida Pinto and Scarlett Johansson have all donated dresses to the Topshop Flagship Store, and are available over the festive period.

Imagine turning up to your christmas party in a REAL Dolce & Gabanna ..... !!!!

Vogue does Hansel and Gretel...

For the December issue of Vogue USA Grace Coddington has styled up a fairy tale treat for us, combining her creativity with photography legend Annie Leibovitz.

This 'performing arts' issue of vogue features in pictures the journey of hansel (Andrew Garfield) and Gretel(Lily Cole) and their battle to beat the baddest Witch around (in the form of Lady Gaga)

Schilder & Korintenberg were born and raised in Germany and both studied Visual Communications at the University of Applied Sciences of Aachen. They had many years of success collaborating together as a team in the Advertising Industry before they discovered their love for Fashion and Beauty Photography.

Luella i love you...

I for one am completely HATING the idea of Luella being discontinued. As club 21 announced earlier this week that they had "taken the decision not to invest further in its relationship with Luella Bartley ... " and that the Luella label was to 'cease trading' . It gives me the sads. Luella has been one of my favourite designers for years and she's always the one i look forward to on the catwalk!

Although Luella has recently undergone projects with Liberty London doing their new Christmas Window - I hope this isn't the end of Luella. If only I had won 45 million in the euro millions Luella would be mine!!

Well she's gone and done it again. Gaga's new video for 'Bad Romance'is her most 'out of the box' approach to a music video to date...



Its no secret the Lady herself is a fan of kermit the muppet but i'm definitely sensing some beaker influences with the big eyed gaga...Don't you think

Hope Von Joel is a London based Stylist/Creative Director. She is a Fashion Knitwear Graduate from Central St Martins, London. With Clients ranging from Editorials such as Nylon, Oyster, Dansk, Arena and Vogue. Photographers including Jason Bell, Yaniv Edry, Victor De Mello and Mo Saito. As well as Musicians such as Alanis Morisette, The Rumblestrips, The Zutons and new hot model Jade Jagger.



I love Hope Von Joel's colourful exuberant style. The colours and shapes are completely complimentary to the female form and makes for eye attracting photography.
